Iris Shawcroft: The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois includes artifacts and exhibits from cultures and animals all over the world, as does the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, New York. Most museums specialize in the interests of space and cost, but natural history museums, because of their focus on the biological and anthropological sciences, tend to have a diverse range of smaller ex! hibits from around the world. The Smithsonian Museums in Washington, D.C. are a collection of buildings located along the National Mall. Refugio Gastineau: Most museums have a world history section, but most museums are a little more specific then general world history. Pick an era you are interested in and you will find a museum dedicated tot hat, I am sure.
