is it required to finance a new car when buying?

Fred Caminita: Man trust me, im trying something new, to Lease new cars. Financing Just takes to much hassle and you don't have to put a crazy amount down payment on leasing a new whip.

Bryant Chaudhry: If you can buy it out right, no. And you'll probably be able to negotiate a good deal that way. If you can't buy it out right, yeah, you'll need financing.

Ismael Sixon: Auto finance is what I do for a living and unless your paying with cash, cashiers check, money order or bank draft, then yes financing would be required for whatever your balance due is.Good luck.

Jamika Gregorio: If you can not pay for it outright, then yes you will have to apply for finance. You can do this at your own bank or credit union or through the dealership. Good luck.

Lenard Ginyard: As pointed out, yes financing would be required if you cannot afford to purchase the car outright.
