Jasper Mangel: Well, in case your television doesn't have that many inputs that you would be able to get a video change/hub that will enable in general 4-6 inputs and have one output to the tv. I propose using each viable enter on your television first so that you get a better snapshot quality. If it has 1 S-Video and 1 composite (red, ble and green RCA style connectors), then use those for the digital inputs (DVD and Tivo).
Rosalva Steinmann: No. The DirecTV TiVo is made to directly record the already digital encoded satellite signal.If you want a TiVo for FIOS service, you need a standalone model that has A/V inputs, or one of the HD models that accept cablecards (which similar to the DirecTV TiVo, those TiVos record the already digital encoded signal from the provider, but the tuner part is way different)
