Mickey Isle: no, it might help the engine breath a little better but the max speed will not change. you can just get there a littler faster,
Hunter Osterberger: The only way you can get noticeable gains in hp from an exhaust is with long tube headers, shorty x-pipe, and an axle back. you can get a minor boost from shorty headers, and if your just looking for sound then a good axleback, even a cat back would help you out. as for the 110 top speed....i dont know whether the crown vics came with a speed limiter or not, but judging from cop cars, thats certainly not the case. buy a tuner, or take it to a shop to be checked out. i dont know if you know the show "Pass Time" but it airs on SPEED and one of the guys on there had an 11 sec Crown Vic. pretty good. but his was Supercharged, and bored over etc etc....Show more
Joesph Smithmyer: an exhaust can add a couple horsepower not to much probably bout 5 hp but this will also effect you gas mileage. it will ! go up. for a manlier sound magnaflow makes some great mufflers that give it a deep throaty sound. the tips are just good for looks and i little better of a sound and to make it go faster you can have to computer flashed to the governer dont kick in at 110.a new form of cold air intake will also add throttle response, hp, tq, and acceleration....Show more
